VetCor is proud to announce our newest teammates—Don Bice and Jennifer Lee Ransom, who signed their agreement to become franchise owners on June 25. They hail from the capitol of Texas and will operate under the name VetCor of Central Texas in Austin. With these new teammates, we’re currently up to nine franchise owners managing 15 territories.
Don should fit right in with Team VetCor, as he’s also a West Pointer! In 1992, he graduated from the United States Military Academy with a B.S. in Systems Engineering and an MBA from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business. He served his county as a Signal Corp officer in the U.S. Army until 1997. Following his career in the military, he served a variety of positions within Fortune 500 companies, as well as working in Private Wealth Management. He is currently a Major in the Texas State Guard supporting COVID-19 operations and logistics.
Jennifer is a 1998 graduate of Midwestern State University with a BS in Mass Communications and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Texas. She served multiple stints as Press Secretary for several Texas State Senators, as well as Chief of Staff. Afterwards, Jennifer worked with 501c3 non-profit groups, later establishing her own Non-Profit consultancy company.
Don and Jennifer first encountered the VetCor opportunity when they attended the Service Academy Career Conference in March. During this time, Don was activated by the Texas State Guard to assist in the COVID-19 response, which slightly delayed their franchising process. Regardless, he and Jennifer completed the Awarding Process and plan to open VetCor of Central Texas in September 2021.
With backgrounds like these, Don and Jennifer will be excellent additions to Team VetCor!
