Team VetCor® is pleased to announce Alex Van has become the organization’s newest franchisee, bringing the total number of franchise owners to 11 and territories represented to 28. Pictured on the left with his wife, Joanna Kha, Van is the first non-veteran owner in the VetCor system. He’ll operate under the DBA of VetCor of Northwest Orlando (FL), with plans to open for business on Feb. 25, 2022.
Alex signed his agreement and was awarded his VetCor franchise on Oct. 13. He discovered the VetCor business opportunity after a referral from one of the company’s restoration industry partners back in July.
Originally from Vietnam, Alex and his family immigrated to the United States and settled in Wichita, Kansas when he was just seven years of age. In 1996, Van graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
His initial career was in the merchant processing industry, where he was able to serve his native Vietnamese community. He went on to become a “trusted advisor” with the community as an Allstate Insurance broker and financial services provider. Allstate corporate reacquired his business, allowing Van to transition to the next chapter of his career as a VetCor owner and operator.
